With the announcement of the government mandated 30-day community quarantine last March 12, 2020, I decided to keep an online journal of this unprecedented pandemic that we are all facing.
Like most people, I had been harping that I didn’t have enough time for a great many things. In my case, that would be writing and regular exercise.
Man, this is a gentle reminder to us all to be careful with what we wish for.
How things are in the South
After from a long overdue assignment in Westgate Alabang Home Depot, my family and I made our way to Festival Mall for lunch followed by a side trip to the grocery for some last minute supplies. As expected, Shopwise was full of people and we were lucky enough to procure the last remaining box of Libby’s Vienna Sausage.
These are certainly trying times.
For lunch, the restaurants weren’t as crowded and we ended up eating at Kenny Rogers Roasters. I didn’t think much of it at that time, but it has dawned on me that this could be one of the last restaurants that I’ll be eating in for awhile. My wife also noticed that it seemed like some patrons were choosing where they were going to eat based on the number of people in the establishment. If that was indeed the case: Less people in a given restaurant would result in a higher probability that they will eat there.
