Lindol Comics #3 (As it is seen in Komiket’s Facebook post)
Got great news today that Lindol Comics has been considered for the Komiket Awards 2019 that will be taking place during Komiket 2019 (February 16 and 17, 2019 | The Elements at Centris along Quezon Avenue).
I am also very grateful for the kind reviews that Anima-i Germaine and EK Gonzalez gave Lindol.

Lindol #3 by Tedi Gustilo Villasor and Randy Valiente.
The three wanderers find their way to a stronghold created at former EDSA-Ortigas, through various perils. It has more action and movement than the bridging Issue 2, and reveals one of their enemies. Lots of 80s references are dropped, for better or worse. The art is stable and excellent as expected.

Most people have probably heard of The Big One–the rumoured mother of all earthquakes that is said to hit the Philippines anytime soon. But no one has thought of what to do when it hits or what might happen after. But the Lindol creators bring these thoughts alive in their komiks.
In Lindol, the story revolves around a few survivors–most being strangers to one another. The first chapter focuses on establishing its characters and events, and serves as a good hook for the chapters to come.
EK Gonzales (@komikninja) has reviewed past issues of Lindol Comics via her Instagram account.
One distinct characteristic of Lindol is its art style–rough and sketchy–which is perfect for its setting, as well as the afterword from the creators.
Lindol may not look like much at first, but its terrifying idea of the big one will keep you wondering what will happen next, so it’s definitely worth a read.
Best Komiks Category 2018
Last February, the Lindol creative team was honoured to have Issue 1 among the six finalist in the Komiket Awards 2018 ‘Best Komiks‘ category. In fact, the creative team was so proud with the nomination that we wanted to find a way wherein we could cite it in future Lindol publications. Komiket was nice enough to grant us permission to do so and even supplied us with the Nominee 2018 logo that appears on Issues 2 and 3.

More to come
We are not sure what 2019 has in store for us but we just wanted to readers to know that our commitment to telling the best story that we possibly can has never been stronger.
