Everyone has that moment in their lives where nuggets of wisdom are thrown their way. The kind of advice or suggestion that resonates long after it is said.
Mine happened a couple of years ago when I purchased a new cellphone and grumbled at the idea of having to purchase an expensive case to protect it. I remember my uncle overhearing that particular rant and immediately turning towards me and said, “So, you’re willing to spend a lot on a cellphone and not on a case to protect it.”
Now, I wasn’t able to properly swallow that particular nugget or wisdom, but as time went by–and the more I thought about it–my uncle really made a lot of sense.
I’ve kept to that piece of advice ever since.
Funko Pop! Stacks Plastic Protectors
I believe that I have talked about my Rick and Morty Funko Pop! collection quite extensively on my website and that it is likely the only Funko series that I would go to great lengths to collect.
Anyway, I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in acrylic plastic protectors for them. But as fate would have it, the moment I reached that decision, the demand for the Pop! Stacks rose and we have had a shortage of them (locally) ever since.
That was until my supplier called and informed me that my Pop! Stack “orders have arrived.”
Now, I wonder if I’ll have enough for all of my Rick and Morty figures.
