Starting out the year with a BANG!
On January 20, 2019, Lindol Comics will joining several Filipino Indie comic book exhibitors for The Fourth San Pablo City Comics Festival! The event–Lindol Comics first of many for 2019–is set to be a celebration of “Philippine comic books as a form of art, entertainment, education, (as well as) a recognition of the vast history of comic book creating by some of the greatest Filipino artists for almost a hundred years” (KomikeroDotCom).
Festival patrons can also look forward to a comprehensive comics book art exhibit (1929 to present) as well as several comic book creation seminars spearheaded by none other than Sir Gerry Alanguilan himself.
The Fourth San Pablo City Comics Festival will be held at at Roño’s Place, Lakeside Park Subivision in San Pablo City, the home town of the comic festivals’ chief architect and Marvel Comics Inker Gerry Alanguilan (January 20, 2019 | 9:00 am to 6:00 pm).
