If there is one thing that Manila doesn’t have a lot of these days, it’s those old rock bottom comic book bargain bins.  You know the one’s that I’m talking about: Boxes (and boxes) that all but spell out, “Yes, we are practically giving them away.”

Bargain bins have always had an unspoken multi-beneficial history with both comic book proprietors and consumers.

On the part of the proprietor, they serve to bring in more foot traffic and a means to alleviate themselves of the burden of over stocks and/or under performing titles.

As for the consumers, well, we all know what they want: The opportunity.

The opportunity to dive into those aforementioned bins with the unwavering hope that they will come out of it with a gem or two.

Hey, it takes one to know one.
