6:45 pm – Went almost no time to spare, the family and I managed to get into one of the last first day screenings of Bumblebee (2018) at Festival Mall’s high end theatre: Box Office Cinemas.
The film–#6 in Michael Bay’s live action Transformers’ cinematic franchise–was initially billed as a spin-off that somehow transformed into a reboot[i].
Probably for the best.
Set in 1987, the classic look of most of the characters, vehicles, and period references[ii] is almost certain to bring back some much needed 80’s nostalgia.
